These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mock Loc Android application and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Intended use
Mock Loc is provided for Android development, QA, and testing of location-aware applications on devices you own or are authorized to use. The Service is not intended to deceive end users, bypass security controls, violate third-party app policies, or break the law.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and must use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws, Google Play policies, and device manufacturer rules.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Mock Loc for lawful testing and development purposes. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app except as allowed by mandatory law or a separate written agreement.
4. Your responsibilities
- Configure Developer Options and mock location settings correctly on your device
- Use simulated locations only in contexts where you are authorized to do so
- Do not use Mock Loc to commit fraud, harass others, or evade platform enforcement
- Keep your device secure and up to date
5. Third-party services
Map tiles and related services (for example OpenStreetMap-based map libraries) and Google Play distribution are provided by third parties. Their terms and availability are outside our control. The Mock Loc source code is private and is not licensed to you beyond the binary distributed through authorized channels.
6. Intellectual property
Mock Loc name, branding, UI, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that mock locations will be accepted by every app or that simulation will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if the Service was free).
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of Mock Loc, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Termination
We may suspend or stop providing the Service at any time. You may stop using Mock Loc by uninstalling the app. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this website. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Mock Loc operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Update this clause with your real legal entity and venue before launch.
